This study investigated effect of two different patterns of Indian classical music on microorganisms. Sound stimulation was found to affect the microbial growth and metaboilsm, notably. Further research in the area of cell-sound interaction can have far-reaching practical implications of relevance to industrial microbiology, and medical microbiology.
